We have created a Guardian-Home Program to grow our breeding program while still providing each of our program dogs with a loving environment in a one-on-one family setting. 

The way our guardian home program works is we place puppies/dogs that are breeding prospects for our program with local families. The family receives a high quality "pick of the litter" dog while we retain breeding rights for that dog. This is not for those interested in breeding themselves, but for those who would like to support our program and benefit from a high quality dog at a fraction of the cost. The dogs we place in guardian homes are “pick of the litter” with an estimated value of $15,000-$30,000. You receive 10% of the net profits from each litter (amount after all costs from the litter are subtracted). Guardian homes pay only a small deposit for the dog and quickly gain that amount back through their 10% commission.

From the moment we started this program we began with a core set of beliefs which includes all of our dogs having the highest quality of care, love and respect. The guardian program enables us to grow our program without dishonoring our core values.

The guardian home is responsible for basic care and the costs associated with the basic care of the dog. These costs include, but aren't limited to: grooming, food, routine veterinary care, toys, accessories, etc. Guardian homes must maintain the physical and mental wellbeing of the guardian dog. Both the guardian home and us are responsible for maintaining a positive and open relationship with each other. 

We do have some flexibility within these requirements, but we do prefer potential candidates to meet these requirements:

1. Live within the Bay Area and agree to not move for the span of the guardian agreement (up to 5 years).
2. Have physical fencing to provide a safe and secure environment for the dog. This also protects the Dog from any unplanned, unwanted pregnancies. Apartments are okay.
3. Agree to never leave the dog off leash in an unsecured area. NO dog parks allowed!
4. Other dogs in the household are spayed/neutered.
5. Have reliable transportation and willingness to bring the dog to us when needed throughout the year for breeding purposes (i.e. testing, breeding, litters, etc.). All health testing, routine and emergency vet care is to be done by approved vets.
6. Agree to maintain open lines of communication with us concerning any matter related to the dog.
7. Agree to feed the food and supplements we recommend. 
8. Understand that we reserve the right to make decisions about the guardian dog and you will have to respect those decisions. These decisions will ALWAYS be for the betterment of the dog. 

The Guardian homes pay only a $1,000 for the dog and quickly gain that amount back through their 10% commission.
